Herrenkeller in Ulm

The restaurant is really very tastefully decorated. No cheap decoration, instead everything was very nicely coordinated in terms of color. Inexpensive, diverse selection of dishes and drinks. I and my girlfriend were really delighted to finally have found a place near us, which we can still afford without restriction at the end of the month. The waiters are always very eager and friendly! We were completely pleasantly surprised. We will definitely be back.

I only say so much: the real Swabian weeps over these catastrophic lenses with spaetzle. The daily lunch was a tragedy. Good food cannot be served within less than 5 minutes after ordering, but takes time to prepare. Both dumplings and lentils with spaetzle looked like they came out of a can / pack ... Rancid and not a nice presentation. You should have sent the restaurant testers there. You have to make spaetzle fresh otherwise the dish is broken. Lentils didn't look edible and unfortunately turned out to be so .... A microwave should be banned from every restaurant that has something to offer. The condition was super nice, but if the food is such a disappointment, you won't come back. Daily meals can also be freshly prepared in individual components. My mum is bad from the dumplings now ... The cheese with which it was gratinated no longer seemed to be good. Never again.

So far okay, with the charm of yesteryear. Service professionally friendly but urgent, especially when paying, if you don't order anything anymore (despite full previous orders with main course and Co.). Atmosphere so-so, but in keeping with the name. The lack of payment options with EC or Visa was incomprehensible, without any indication of why it is not possible, it just has to be done. Price line ok. Sanitary facilities still in order.

A beautiful old economy with a lot of tradition. The food was very good, the service very good and friendly staff. It can definitely be recommended.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly personnel !

The meals certainly was in fact tasty And delicious, can't wait to come back and try all of those other food choices. Food was very well presented and I must say i enjoyed the atmosphere. Met my sis here for dinner, energetic ambiance but no waiting around. The cost of the meal was less than anticipated, my sis And I were really satisfied. The waitress whom served us was in fact friendly and had a great smile.

Old German-style beer house. It is worth going in because of the style of the place. You won't meet him often anymore. Very good local beer and a very large selection. Food very correct, but quite expensive for this quality. Very nice service. Nice and quiet.

Very old traditional style restaurant that takes you back in time. You could be back in the 1600's if you get get the right meal with a proper salt glaze tankard. Really nice meal and the beer was really good. But german beer always is. Very prompt service and staff very welcoming. Not expensive and extremely good portions of food. Cant go wrong for the authentic feel good factor.

We all tasted very good! Delicious Swabian home cooking. Service was also very friendly. Beer (Gold Ox) is always top! Unfortunately, the lemon was missing in the crystal wheat, determined a mistake, but was not too bad. We will be back.

All dishes are delightfully prepared and always served warm. Gladly I come here with my friend and can rely on me to be served decently. The decors on the squares and in the entire restaurant is justifiable and aesthetic. The bathroom is always clean and all in all, the restaurant gives a charming impression. I found the offer very appealing.

The service staff were friendly and fast. The food was not good though. The spaetzle was dry, the cream sauce too sweet and the turkey schnitzel so sinewy that I could not eat a portion. With my friend the fries were over-seasoned and for the price we paid the portion too small. Hope the cook only had a bad day and it's not everytime that way. We will not be back ...

Homely atmosphere. Very tasty food! Friendly and efficient staff. It is a good local beer Gold Ochsen. And all this happiness at reasonable prices! There were not very many visitors (which is also a plus). The impression was that this place is not very touristy, and most of the locals go here.

Good swabian food

Very nice, rustic tavern / restaurant. Rich selection of dishes of typical Swabian and Ulm cuisine. Also traditional dishes. Excellent preparation. Very good kitchen! Especially fresh products! Service is really very attentive, fix and extremely friendly. The ambience is traditional, really old and quaint. Just as it was before. I like it very much. I like to visit again! Absolute recommendation!

The food came every 10 minutes. When the first one was finished, my food came first and then the wrong one. The food tasted great.

Really good honest food and just what we all needed after a long drive. Prices are reasonable and the service on this visit was top, very friendly and also interested in us and the children. Recommended for people who are not seeking the hip and trendy but the nice and friendly 😉

Avoid this restaurant at all cost! The quality of the food is very low. If you want to try southern german food go to the "ratskeller".
